No Ordinary Rose Workshop: May 3
Sunday, May 3
2-3:30pm
at Longview Cottage*
Roses are my absolute favorite flower, and I only grow varieties you can't find at a grocery store--not even Trader Joe's 😉
For me, no ordinary rose will ever do: I have heirloom roses bred before 1867, modern roses with over 100 petals, and fragrant roses that smell absolutely divine. Most roses you get these days don't even have a fragrance! I’ll tell you all about them, and show you how to design a bouquet to support these treasured blooms.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn about different rose types’ unique characteristics and create a bouquet using my own cottage-grown flowers. I’ll show you how to choose flora that accents roses, and how to artfully arrange them together. You’ll also learn how to care for them, so you can take home your lovely bouquet & keep it fresh longer.
Whether you're new to flower arranging or want to improve your craft, this class is for any skillset.
Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible. This class is open to everyone ages 15+. Cancellations are accepted up to 72 hours before the event; after that, cancellations are non-refundable.
