On our urban micro flower farm, we grow with a focus on fragrant, heirloom, and unique luxury flowers. Bloom season begins in March and ends in late November, with slightly less inventory during the summer. Expect seasonal flora, which is outlined in our Bloom Calendar.
All orders are pickup only from our farm & studio in Birmingham (Homewood), Alabama.
FLORAL DESIGNERSAs designers ourselves, we understand your needs when it comes to color palettes, and preferences for flora that may look delicate, but is high performance & sturdy when handled. We sell by the stem, instead of by the bunch, so you can get exactly what you need in the amount you want – without the broken or moldy stems often found in bunches. We never use chemicals or pesticides in our growing practices, so you can feel safe handling our blooms without gloves.

EVENTSDo you have an event that you’d like fragrant, heirloom, or unique luxury blooms for? Maybe it’s a bridal shower, milestone party, or DIY wedding. While we don’t do arrangements for events, we can select bespoke bundles of blooms for you within your budget.

DESIGN STUDIOLongview Cottage is a flower farm & design studio in Birmingham, Alabama. We harmonize with nature, not chemicals, to grow and arrange unique, seasonal floral arrangements.
We seek respite from the daily grind and are inspired by the past to be grounded in the present. Taking a nod from whimsical English cottage gardens, as well as mono no aware and memento mori philosophies – we weave each stem into layered, textural art that looks dreamy and smells divine. Whether it’s a bouquet to mark a special moment, a bundle of blooms for a celebration, or a class to connect with nature and your creative side, we have garden grown blooms for every occasion.
